Mario Tossi - Born in 1964, on April 23 in the city of Olinda-PE. The artist at the age of 16 began his own serigraphy in Rio Grande do Norte, where he learned and perfected some techniques that would later be used in his works. In 1979 he went to Altamira-PA where he opened his second serigraphy / atelier. He left the Amazon after knowing the jungle and its secrets well, after an adventure without limits where the artist faced the Amazon jungle, remaining for 32 days in a crossing of 600 km from Altamira to Belém do Pará, source of inspiration for paintings by several years. In 1982 he arrived in Canoa Quebrada-CE still young, but already with a briefcase of information of the world. Canoa allowed him to learn new languages ​​and made him curious to know Europe, a dream realized three years later. Germany was the first country where he lived, precisely in Tübingen / Baden Würtenberg where he exhibited and negotiated his paintings with Amazonian themes, surrealist paintings and started a series of exclusive t-shirts, totally painted by hand. In 1986 he went to France (Marseille, Nice and Aix-en-Provence) where he once again exhibited the vision of the Amazon for three months. The artist returned to Germany living for another year, thus enhancing one more language and strengthening its bond with the art and culture of a new country. In Italy, home to great artists, he chose Florence as a working and living environment until 1989, where he improved his techniques and learned watercolor, becoming a full-time watercolorist. He left Tuscany so much loved and an endless source of inspiration and life to live in Maastricht-Holland for the long nine years, where he had the opportunity to perfect and become a French cook, won prizes in painting contests, as well as graphic contests, but the artist was not happy with his life in Holland, He was married the second time he decided to find other seas.

Back in Brazil, more precisely, Canoa Quebrada in 1999, He opened OXENT GALLERY an atelier of painting and serigraphy, where T-shirts were customized at the customer's discretion. The artist, lover of quality music and good cuisine followed his infinite route in search of pleasure and art, in Ceará he held several exhibitions and had direct contact with European foreigners who always appreciated and bought his innovative works and personal technique . The artist experimented with various techniques and materials finding in vinyl ink a particular trait, which became a reference of the artist. After long twelve years in Canoa Quebrada, already divorced from his second wife, he survived new loves and colors, found a new path. In 2009, in partnership, the artist opened a new gallery in Canoa Quebrada, O LUZAZUL where besides serving great drinks and Chilean empanadas, he allowed the exhibition of his paintings and collective events of other artists.
In 2010 the artist after a turnaround in his life, left Canoa Quebrada and came to the Big São Paulo in search of new windows and experiences. Passionate about the art he soon had inspiration for his new exhibition, already with a goal for another aiming at the colorful, geometric and artistic side of the cluster of buildings, people and vehicles. Mario Tossi was determined to make himself as an artist in this stone jungle.

In June 2011, in recognition of his artistic life and fight for innovations in Brazil, the artist was awarded one of his works at the "XXV Salon of Visual Arts of Arceburgo - MG" with a Large Gold Medal, a work that brings a criticism of the fires, and the improper and criminal exploitation of our Amazonian forest.
On October 6, 2011, his first solo exhibition in São Paulo, FOCUS MUNDI went from project to reality, where he, the artist could leave his political message on the situation of our beautiful forest richness.
He participated in a collective exhibition, aiming at an expectation of seeing his works again abroad at the Torrego Art Gallery, in Campo Belo, in the Big São Paulo.
The artist left São Paulo after five and a half years, and after having participated in more than ten exhibitions ... He was represented by Galeria Pontoart, where several of his works are available for visits and negotiations.

In early 2015 living in Fartura - SP, the artist worked as a decorator in a bazaar, where he had time to rethink in a new way of life, after 7 months he decided to return to Canoa Quebrada, to review relatives and design a new trip to Europe.
In Canoa Quebrada, in the years 2015 to 2018 the artist made some murals and painted some new works, and began to face a new type of audience, the listeners of music, in a career still amateur singer. Today in contact with other artists, he begins to create a new project, related to teaching of arts, not diverting the dream of adventure for three years by the cold Siberia and get to know the Russian culture better ...
