In 1993 I was awarded first place in a competition between about 250 artists from Holland, Belgium, Germany and France. I being the only South American representative took the best with my watercolor, Work made in less than 25 minutes, I’ve delivered minutes before the Registration for participation deadline. LEMBRANÇAS DA TRANSAMAZÔNICA was a criticism of the abusive deforestation and by not ending the trans-Amazon highway.

ARTI STUDY MAGAZINE - The Netherlands
In 1995 I took part in a new competition, this time it was a challenge more interesting, because it was to create a postcard, and the themes were LOVE-FRIENDSHIP-HEALTH. I chose the theme of LOVE and the colors to be used should be the difference on the card, so the larger expression would be the colors ... And as is my habit, I love to break the rules. I decided to use GREEN as COLOR to express LOVE and I won another competition, creating the idea of a love that is born as a plant with one leaf and surprising everyone when this plant grew and was filled with a lot of leaves."MIJN LIEFDE VOOR JOU IS ZO BEGONNEN" (my love for you started like this). CÃO VIRA-LATA
Mario Tossi
Lasciva tensão em mim
Ao te imaginar,
Ao te desejar aqui...
Invadir o teu ser
Ser o teu cobertor...
Descobrir-te
Cobrir-te de beijos e palavras loucas
Respostas pra minha sede de mel
O sabor da tua seda
Quimera maravilhosa
Quisera eu poder apagar essa flama
Debruçar-me contigo
Arrepiado pereço de tanta fome
Ah... Essa tensão que insiste
Invadiria sua fantasia...
Te roubaria d’outros braços
Seria minha sempre Rainha...
Esse bobo que te idolatra
Qual cão vira-lata
Confuso e sem esperança
Livre de todas as chances
Sem um sinal...
Apenas em minha mente
Nem sequer o teu sal
Despertando meus desejos
